If you’re looking for a great night out and want to experience everything the London nightlife has to offer – it’s all happening in Shoreditch. You could start your night at one of the many Vietnamese restaurants on Old Street or Kingsland Road. The place is practically Little Vietnam. And we’re talking a great range of prices – dirty cheap to ridiculous expensive!
Once your dinner has settled, at about 9pm head to The Spread Eagle on Kingsland Road for a few cheap (yet generous) drinks. You’ll catch DJ Cupcake spinning her beats from 9pm every Saturday and she rocks – as the night progresses, so do her tunes. Expect funky, electro, dirty house until midnight. After this, about 30 seconds up the road is On the Rocks a.k.a Trailer Trash. It’s fresh, funky and slightly on the dark and dirty side which adds to it’s great futurist/retro (both in one) atmosphere.
As the sun comes up, if you’re still wanting to dance into Sunday morning, head to the only place that is still open – Aquarium , near Old Street Station. By the end of that, you’re probably ready for a nap before heading to work on Monday morning. J
